Indigo Group is a community-driven NGO in California that helps internationals and first generation Americans thrive in their communities through language, legal, financial, and leadership support.
The need in Los Angeles
In Los Angeles County, where cultures and stories come together every day, Indigo was born to lift up voices that too often go unheard. According to the American Immigration Council, immigrants make up nearly 34 percent of the county’s population and more than 40 percent of its workforce. Supporting internationals and first generation Americans is therefore not only a matter of equity but also essential for the prosperity of the entire community.
Our Work
Through our programs, initiatives, and community events, we create spaces where potential becomes power. What began in universities, chambers of commerce, and city halls has grown into a movement that continues to expand with every scholarship, class, event, and story.
